Series 2 - Episode #01 - Alex Ogg

Welcome to the first episode in the second series of podcasts focused on work health and safety in the seafood industry. This series of podcasts focus on the SeSAFE – safety training for the professional fishing industry

Our first speaker in the second series is Alex Ogg. At the time of this podcasts Alex was the Chief Executive Officer of the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council (WAFIC).  He was the chair of the SeSAFE Steering Committee.

Alex has 15 years of experience in the pearling sector as a licensee and member of a number of commercial boards, as well as a ministerial appointee of the Pearling Industry Advisory Committee. This commercial experience adds to his deep understanding of fishers’ common business concerns.
